Yuta Watanabe Final Status for Tonight’s Game vs. Jazz Revealed

After being added to the Suns’ injury report as questionable with a left quad contusion yesterday, Yuta Watanabe’s final status has been revealed for tonight’s game vs. the Jazz.

Watananbe will be out against Utah, joining Bradley Beal (low back strain) and Damion Lee (right meniscus surgery) as the three Suns who will be sidelined tonight.

Watanabe has played in every Suns’ (6-6) game so far, averaging 5.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 18.6 minutes per game. However, the three-point sniper has been struggling as of late. He is shooting 37.2% from deep after connecting on 44.4% of his triples last season with the Nets.

Watanabe played a season-low 10 minutes in Friday’s 131 -128 victory over the Jazz, posting three points and two rebounds.

Nassir Little had a really good game for the Suns off the bench after not playing for a while, so he could very well fill in for Watanabe.

The Suns and Jazz tip off at 6 p.m. MST in a rematch of Friday night’s game.
