Yesterday was not my best day as a bettor. I went 0/4, the reason it was only 0/4, is that Bradley Beal was a late scratch with back issues and that bet was voided. There was nothing that went right for me from a betting standpoint.

I went against my own advice on this one. The Suns came into this game with the schedule on their side. Minnesota was on the back end of a back to back. They played against the Golden State Warriors on the road the night before in an emotional game. Three players were ejected and Draymond Green has been suspended for five games due to this altercation.

The Suns last played on Sunday and were well rested coming into this game.
The Suns defeated the Timberwolves, 133-115. My pick of this game being close never had a chance as the Suns pulled away in the second quarter and didn’t look back. I thought Minnesota would keep this game close because they were playing so well prior to this match-up. They were on a seven game win streak but that steak came to a screeching halt at the hand of the Suns.
Anthony Edwards Over 26.5 Points
This was another failed bet on my part as Anthony Edwards did not get close scoring 27 points. Edwards scored 13 points on 4/16 shooting from the field. The former Georgia Bulldog is having a great year. Just had a bad night on the wrong night for me.
Under 224 Total Points
I missed on this bet pretty badly as 248 points were scored. The Timberwolves had the top defense in the NBA going into this game allowing only 103 points per game. Again, I just picked the wrong night to bet on Minnesota. This goes back knowing the schedule and trusting my gut.
Devin Booker Over 6.5 Assists
I was wrong about this one as well. I don’t feel too bad about this pick. Booker finished the game with five assists and only played 25 minutes. If this was a more competitive game, he plays more minutes and more than likely gets at least two more assists.
It was a rough night for me. This is why it is important to bet responsibly. I will bounce back for the next game, be on the lookout for my picks as the Suns play against the Utah Jazz on Friday.
