Who Will The Cardinals Be Without Against the Browns?

The (1-7) Arizona Cardinals are on the road against the (4-3) Cleveland Browns. This is the debut for Cardinals rookie quarterback Clayton Tune going against the furious Browns defense. That defense is headlined by one of, if not, the best defensive players in the league, Myles Garrett. Who will miss this game due to injury and how will this impact Tune and the offense?

The two names that standout on the injury report from an offensive standpoint are wide receiver Michael Wilson and running back Emari Demercado. Wilson has really started to find his groove as a NFL wide receiver. The game against the San Francisco 49ers is where Wilson really started to hit his stride. In that game he had seven receptions for 76 yards and two touchdowns. Since that game he has been a consistent threat that teams have to look out for.

Emari Demercado was huge last week against the Baltimore Ravens. He had 20 carries for 78 yards in the game. This is not a stat line that blows you away but the consistency of the run is important. Demercado provided that last week.

Hopefully Keontay Ingram and Tony Jones Jr are ready to step up in Demercado’s absence. Wilson is also leaving a big void that needs to be filled by Andre Baccellia and some of the other wide receivers. Only time will tell how the voids left by Demercado and Wilson will impact the Cardinals’ offense.
