In Game 5 of the World Series, Diamondbacks’ ace Zac Gallen made postseason history by becoming the first ever pitcher to throw six no-hit innings during an elimination game.

To break the no-hitter, Corey Seager perfectly placed a ball off the knob of his bat into left field.
Then, following an Evan Carter double in the gap, Mitch Garver broke the tie with a groundball up the middle.
This ultimately led to Gallen being taken out of the game.

Fortunately for the D-backs, Kevin Ginkel, who inherited runners on the corners, managed to prevent any further damage.
Nonetheless, the Diamondbacks have just nine outs to get on the scoreboard if they want to keep their season alive.
