The Sun Devils won this past week versus Washington State. During that game, they had many players who stood out as stars on both sides of the ball.

First came the Pac-12 Player of the Week awards. Leif Fautanu was named Offensive Line Player of the Week. David Longhetto was named Special Teams Player of the Week. BJ Green was named Defensive Line Player of the Week.

All of these players had fantastic games. BJ Green had 1.5 sacks and four tackles. Longhetto went 5/5 on extra points and drained a 51-yard field goal as time expired in the first half.
The national awards came next. The Outland Trophy named Fautanu the top O-linemen in the country this week. PFF gave Jalin Conyers the highest grade of any TE in the country. The Paul Hornung Award named Cam Skattebo to his third honor roll.

Conyers led the team in receiving with 90 yards on four catches. Skattebo had 11 rushes for 121 yards and a touchdown. This included a 66-yard run that was the longest of ASU’s season.
It was a great game by the Sun Devils, who now have an incredibly tough challenge in Utah this weekend.
