With a few days to spare before Game 1 of the World Series on Friday, Diamondbacks’ ace Zac Gallen has continued the celebration from last night by having some fun with fans on social media.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Throughout the regular season, Gallen wasn’t particularly known for his outgoing personality.
However, postseason baseball has revealed a different side of the 28-year-old starter.
In what could easily win the title of ‘Tweet of the Year,’ Zac replied to a user with a picture of Philadelphia Phillies Spring Training tickets.

Gallen also had a bone to pick with Jeff Passan, who had prematurely declared the series over back in Game 5, while Diamondbacks fans were doing the wave at Chase Field.
It’s evident that Gallen was patiently waiting for that final out in Game 7 to fire off this response.
Oooof what did I tell you yesterday? https://t.co/CxcpQtAJkQ

While the NLCS may not have been one of Gallen’s best stretches, at least by his own standards, there’s no denying that the Diamondbacks wouldn’t be in this situation if it weren’t for his dominance during the regular season.
Now, as they get ready for the World Series, they will be relying on Gallen more than ever, as he is set to take the mound for Game 1.
