Already, through just two innings, the Diamondbacks have tallied more hits against Nola than they did in Game 2, as he allowed just three hits through six shutout innings in his previous outing.

To get on the board first, Tommy Pham and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went back-to-back in the 2nd inning.

Then, after Alek Thomas drew a walk, Evan Longoria drove a double into the gap, which brought the speedy Thomas in to score.

These runs mark the first time the Diamondbacks have held a single lead while playing in Citizens Bank Park this series.

Additionally, Merrill Kelly, who took the mound in the bottom of the 2nd, became the first Diamondbacks starting pitcher to throw a pitch with his team holding a lead in the NLCS.
