Ginkel, like many on the D-backs roster, is getting his first taste of postseason baseball this year.

And what better way to experience the postseason than to play in front of the wild Phillies fanbase in an NLCS showdown.

Per Bob Nightengale, Ginkel has been pretty impressed with what he has witnessed so far, stating, ‘So cool. You know, it feels like October baseball. You watch these games on TV over the years ….and they bring it. They bring it every single pitch. It’s a cool environment for sure.’

So far this postseason, Ginkel has been excellent for the Diamondbacks out of the bullpen.

Combined between the Wild Card round and the NLDS, Ginkel has tossed 4.1 shutout innings and has struck out eight batters in this span.

This performance aligns closely with his regular season success, where he concluded the year with an impressive 9-1 record and a 2.48 ERA.
