Gabriel Moreno continues to shatter records in the postseason

Game 3 at Arizona: Gabriel Moreno hits the Diamondbacks; fourth home run of the third inning to give Arizona a 4-0 lead.

With his 420-foot bomb into the left field bleachers to give the Diamondbacks a 4-0 lead, Gabriel Moreno became the youngest catcher in MLB history to record three home runs during a single postseason run.

Moreno did so in just five games in hist first appearance in the playoffs at just 23 years old.

His home run against the Dodgers was the fourth that the Diamondbacks compounded in this record-breaking 3rd inning.

During the regular season, Moreno recorded just seven home runs, as he was mainly known for his ability to place the ball perfectly into the outfield.

Unfortunately, about a half hour after his homer in Game 3 of the NLDS, Moreno was forced to exit the game with a right-hand contusion.

The Diamondbacks traded for Gabriel Moreno back in December. It is pretty easy to say that this trade has worked out greatly in their favor.
