He sustained the injury on a foul tip that went off his hand in the top of the fifth inning. He stayed in the game for the remainder of that half-inning but was pinch-hit for in the bottom half.
This is the second time he has been removed from the game this postseason.
“He can move his hand but is in pain.” The broadcast said.
Gabriel Moreno hit a solo homer in the 3rd inning. It was the 4th of four homers in that frame.
Pavin Smith pinch-hit for him, and Jose Herrera is in at catcher now.
