It’s only been just over a week since Jusuf Nurkić was acquired from the Portland Trail Blazers.

“It’s really really fun,” Nurkić said. “I look at yesterday and today, I’m coming down the floor and Devin Booker has the ball. I’m running and seeing (if I should be) playing the pick-and-roll with D-Book. But then, out in the corner, I got KD and Bradley Beal. I’m saying, ‘god damn.’
“It’s kind of crazy when you think about it. The spacing and everything is so big. It’s really fun to be out there.”

With this being said, Nurkić is confident in his ability to find the open man.
“I feel like I can really pass the ball sometimes maybe too much,” Nurkić said. “I’m enjoying just to play around and not even looking at the basket yet. It’s just how much fun you have.
“I still tried to act normally, we have too much power. It’s really fun for me, I don’t (even) know how to act yet as far as running the floor.”
Overall, Nurkić is really liking his time so far in Phoenix.
“As long as I have the sun, I’m good, man, and we have plenty of that here, so I’m gonna be okay,” he said.
