Phoenix Suns coach Frank Vogel and star guard Devin Booker were asked about their thoughts on the Diamondbacks today after Arizona swept the Brewers to advance to the NLDS against the Dodgers.

“I love it,” Vogel said. “I met (Diamondbacks head coach) Torey (Lovullo) this summer, and I’ve become a big fan of his approach and him as a person, and I could not be more happy for him.”

He added that he loved Lovullo’s viral postgame speech (see below).

“It was an awesome moment. Bring on the Dodgers, let’s go. Go Diamondbacks!” Vogel said.

Booker said that he would like to catch a game, but it is unlikely he’ll be able to. The days the D-backs could play at home are next Wednesday and Thursday, but the Suns play in Portland on Thursday.

The D-backs kick off their series against the Dodgers on Saturday at 6:20 p.m. MST, while the Suns play their first preseason game on Sunday in Detroit at noon MST.
