19 year old Oke played for the Saginaw Spirit in the Ontario Hockey League and went 10-10-1 in 24 games.

While playing for the Barrie Colts in the OHL, Haché scored 3 goals and 7 assists in 32 games.

Coyotes cut ties with McDonald who has been a four-year defenseman at Providence College where he potted 6 points in 37 NCAA games.

Portland Winterhawks defenseman Thompson had 19 points in 57 Western Hockey League games.

As for Boyd, he was a part of the Charlottetown Islanders in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he suited up for 75 games and posted 26 points two years ago.

With Prokop, he recorded 37 points in 28 games last season at the University of Alberta in Canada.

Elliot spent the past four years in the QMJHL where he had a combined 68 points between the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Charlottetown Islanders and most recently, the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

An Amateur tryout is a contract for players who leave college or junior teams for an opportunity to turn professional.

The former Coyotes prospects released are free agents and can sign with any team, in the NHL or elsewhere.

The NHL preseason will roll-on until October 10th, so more roster moves are expected to happen. Stay tuned for more.
