The answer to that question is a lot harder than people want to admit as Dillingham gave an honest answer to the question after Wednesday’s practice.

Dillingham’s main thing that he wanted to emphasize here was that there’s no way of stopping a great player like Williams. The key is to limit him as much as possible and for the offense to keep the ball out of his hands with time of possession.

Williams is having a stellar season so far as he’s 3-0, has thrown 12 touchdowns and 0 interceptions, has thrown for 878 yards on a 79% completion percentage, and is spearheading the number-one-ranked scoring offense.

Last year Williams won the Heisman Trophy after throwing for 42 touchdowns rushing for 10 more and totaling over 4,800 yards on offense.
