To no surprise, the Suns’ top two players were ranked in the top 10 but Kevin Durant (8th) may appear low as both he and Devin Booker (9th) were ranked 8th and 9th in the rankings.

A lot of the talk was made that the reason Booker made it into the top 10 had a lot to do with his postseason play which was spectacular.

He averaged 33.7 ppg to go along with 7.2 assists and averaging under 2.9 turnovers. As for Durant, the reason he was ranked 8th in the league had to do with nothing more than age.

Durant is set to be 35 this upcoming year but he has shown no signs of slowing down as he just averaged 29.1 points on 55% from the field, 40% from three, and 90% from the free throw line.

He missed more than half of the season due to injury but when healthy he has still shown the world that he is the best mid-range scorer in the world as well as an above-average defender.

The other two Suns players that made the list were newcomer Bradley Beal (34) and Deandre Ayton (54) and the Suns rounded the top 100 with 4 players inside the rankings.

Bradley Beal’s Rank Among Point Guards

We shall see how the season goes for the Suns but it’s safe to say that the Suns have easily one of the best starting fives in the NBA which can more than enough help them win the NBA Finals Larry O’Brien trophy.
