Following Jon Rahm’s drop from the top position, brought about by two finishes outside the top 30 in playoff rounds, he currently secures the No. 4 position. He’s now engaged in a close competition with Rory Mcllroy, who holds the No. 3 spot. No. 5 Lucas Glover is over 400 points away from Rahm in a race that can still be anyone’s win given the amount of points awarded for postseason victories.

No.1 Scottie Scheffler holds first place by 194 points ahead of Viktor Hovland who jumped from No. 7 to No. 2 after a win at the BMW Championship last weekend.

After this morning’s start, all players are tee’d off and well on their way to completing round one of the TOUR Championship.

Scheffler is holding steady and proving why he is No. 1 entering today’s round. He is currently in first place shooting 12-under par through the front nine. Two strokes ahead of Collin Morikawa and four ahead of Rahm, Hovland and Schenk through nine.
