Mookie Betts then pointed out a time just a few months ago when Durant was seen repping a Corbin Carroll jersey in the front row at Chase Field.

While Carroll conceded to never having a direct conversation with KD, his overwhelming sense of joy was unmistakable.
“Seven-year-old Corbin going and watching him, and for him to be there watching us. That was pretty cool.”
