Fortier stands at 6-foot-5, 220 pounds and attends Tualatin High School. He is ranked as a three-star recruit and is the No. 29 tight end in the country in the 247 Sports’ composite rankings. He had just announced yesterday that he was ranked as the No. 1 player in Oregon by 247 Sports.

According to MaxPreps, Fortier had 25 receptions for 342 yards and three touchdowns last season, while also playing linebacker on defense.
The old coaching staff at ASU first offered Fortier, and Mohns and Kenny Dillingham kept the offer on the table for him. Fortier visited Tempe back in November, and the coaches have been persistent in pursuing him.

Fortier had visited Arizona and Colorado State the past two weekends before making his decision today.
After landing local (Chaparral) ATH Plas Johnson yesterday, these two commits give ASU 14 class of 2024 pledges. Fortier is the Sun Devils’ first class of 2024 commitment from Oregon.
