After Chris Paul gets traded to the Washington Wizards in a deal that sent Bradley Beal to the Suns, the Warriors make a big splash in trading for Paul in exchange for Jordan Poole a protected 2030 1st-round pick, and 2027 2nd round pick according to Shams Charania.

This would be an interesting fit for Golden State if they were to keep Paul on the team. The way I see it though is this is a salary dump to get out of the Poole deal so they can resign Draymond Green who is expected to hit free agency.
If he were to stay, this would be crazy interesting from the Suns’ perspective as both teams are in the same division and see each other 4 times a year. Paul against his former team 4 times a year would be must-see TV.
Big news on a Thursday afternoon and free agency hasn’t even started yet. The NBA is a crazy business.
