There are a lot of crazy claims going around that suggest that former Suns head coach Monty Williams didn’t necessarily like coaching players such as Deandre Ayton and Jae Crowder during his time in Phoenix.

This doesn’t come as a surprise per se as there have been a lot of fans and media members that have speculated for some time whether Williams got along with both players.
It also didn’t help that Crowder responded to the news on Twitter and seemed to joke around with the claims.

Whether these claims are true or not, this isn’t a good look on Williams as there were even more reports that he didn’t play T.J. Warren or Terrence Ross in the playoffs because he wanted to play his guys.
Not to mention it’s also reported that Williams was in favor of wanting the Suns to trade Ayton to the Pacers for Myles Turner before the Suns matched his offer.
