The Mercury struggled with turnovers throughout the night as they had 22 and the Sparks converted 16 points off of them.

Britney Griner in her first action back scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds to go along with 4 blocks.

She seemed to injure her ankle late in the contest and got subbed out but by that point they were already down 15.

With Sophie Cunningham already out with injury as well as guard Skyler Diggins-Smith, the Mercury’s depth is a little bit rough.

As for the Sparks, they had 5 players score in double figures. Nneka Ogwumike led the way with 17 points  and had an overall efficient night shooting going 6/13.
