Griner made this game one to remember stats wise as well, dropping 27 points with 10 rebounds and 4 blocks on 9-12 shooting.
Unfortunately, the Mercury did not have enough at the end to win the game. Making their record so far through the first weekend of the season 0-2.

LA Sparks’ Nneka Ogwumike Pays Tribute to Britney Griner Ahead of Tonight’s Game
The Phoenix Mercury will stay home for the next two weeks, and host a game on May 25th against Minnesota Lynx and on June 2nd they will host the LA Sparks.
The Sparks is who gave Phoenix their first loss of the season on Friday.
