The Suns’ season comes to a close after the fall in game 6 to the Nuggets by a final score of 125-100. Many fans looked at this game similar to last season’s epic collapse against the Dallas Mavericks in game 7 when the Suns lost by 33.

This time around the Suns move up 8 points to only lose by 25 and yet the results are still the results. After the game, the media went into the team’s locker room, and star player Devin Booker wasn’t anywhere to be seen.

Booker finished the game with 12 points on 4-13 shooting and struggled to find a rhythm all night long. It’s even worse when you consider the type of playoff run that he had.

Head coach Monty Williams after the game said that Booker was dealing with soreness in his foot that he injured a little in game 5 but toughed it out for tonight’s game.

That soreness hampered the way he played today which forced Monty to take him out midway through the 4th quarter even though the game was already out of hand at that point.

Suns Lose Vs. Nuggets, Eliminated in Game 6

Even though Booker didn’t answer questions from the media, the Suns will have to answer a lot of questions this offseason in hopes that these playoff runs stop ending in these ways.
