The Arizona Cardinals will be without James Conner for the first time since Week 8 due to a shin injury.
Kliff Kingsbury broke the news on Friday morning, just ahead of the Cardinals’ Sunday afternoon matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

Instead, rookie Keaontay Ingram and newly acquired Corey Clement will carry the load in the running game.
The absence of Conner will surely be noticeable, as the 27-year-old running back had one of the best seasons of his career.
Conner will end with a total of 782 yards on the ground and an additional 300 in the air. This production has seen a massive ramp up over the past few weeks, where Conner has had at least 100 total yards in each of the last five games.
At the very least, he ended the year on a high note and will be able to build off this for a breakout 2023 season.
