David Blough will be making his first start since 2019, and it is a chance to show the Cardinals and other teams what he can do. Arizona signed Blough off the Minnesota Vikings practice squad a few weeks back. In his career, Blough has passed for 1,033 yards, thrown four touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He completed 54.4% of his passes and has a passer rating of 62.2.
Against the Falcons, Blough should not try to do too much and take what the defense gives him.

With DeAndre Hopkins out, Blough’s go-to receiver should be Marquise Brown. On the season, Brown has 60 catches for 641 yards and three touchdowns. Brown could be targeted a lot by Blough; he has the speed to get down the fields and make plays.

With Budda Baker out, Isaiah Simmons must step up and feel the void. Simmons can play multiple positions but is more comfortable playing the nickel and safety. He has good range and moves well. So far this season, Simmons has 85 tackles, three sacks, two interceptions, and seven passes defended. Look for Simmons to be all over the field Sunday. It is his time to step up and lead the Cardinals’ defense.
