Chris Paul Close to Returning:

Chris Paul continues to make progress from his right heel soreness injury that he suffered close to a month ago in a loss against the Philadelphia 76ers. The starting point guard has been doing his normal warmups before games even though he’s going to be out for his 11th consecutive game. Earlier in the week James Jones talked to the media in regard to his promotion and said that Paul is near a return and that there’s nothing more to it than a right heel injury. All he needs is rest and given his practicing, the return is just around the corner.

No Slowing Down For Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton:

Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton have been two of the team’s best players this year and both players have been having tremendous weeks during the teams winning streak. Devin Booker just dropped 44 points to go along with 6 steals in a win against the Kings and Deandre Ayton had 29 points and 21 rebounds in a win against the Jazz. During warmups, they seemed to be loose and ready to go in what looks like should be impressive showings from the team’s top players in today’s matchup against the Bulls. If they can get the production that the two have ben giving the team for the remainder of the season, this team will be scary good come playoff time.
