1st quarter: The Mikal Bridges Show

Mikal Bridges was dynamite from the field dropping 10 points and 5 rebounds to start off and playing terrific defense to boot forcing a couple of steals. He’s been by far the best player on the court finishing off the half with 3 steals total and a block. he has a +15 in the half which would be tied for the third on the team as he has been one of the best efficient players in the game this season. Let’s see if it continues in the second half.

2nd Quarter: All-Around Team Effort

With Chris Paul out of the lineup tonight, the Suns’ depth has played their best complete half as they’ve played all season. Cameron Payne has 11 points with 3 three’s and Landry Shamet has 13 points with 4/5 shooting from the field. Dario Saric has 5 points in his own right and Jock Landale had a massive block to kickstart a run for the Suns as well. The Suns are winning with a full team effort tonight and it starts not only with Bridges’s play but the depth that was thin tonight coming in and that’s a credit toward head coach Monty Williams.

Second half tip-off is just about to start and we’ll see if the Suns can move to 8-3 on the season.
