After an incredible comeback win, the Arizona Cardinals host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. It is a division game, and those are always big games. However, if the Cardinals could pull a win off, it would be a substantial early season victory for them.

Contain Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp has 24 catches this young season, so expect the Rams and Matt Stafford to look to him often. The Cardinals must pay close attention to Kupp and not let him run wild; Arizona did a good job covering Davante Adams last week and must do the same this week. The Cardinal must double-team Kupp and give different looks. Also, they must be physical.

Pressure Matt Stafford

Getting early pressure on Matt Stafford will be crucial on Sunday. If the Cardinals can pressure Stafford, it could force him into throwing interceptions. He has thrown five interceptions so far this season. So J.J Watt and company will need to apply the pressure to help force Stafford into bad decisions.

Unleash Kyler Murray

Last week the Cardinals did a good job taking what the Raiders’ defense gave them in the second half. Arizona switched to a short passing game, and Kyler Murray made plays with his legs when the receivers were covered. Either to extend plays are take off and run for yardage. Also, Arizona ran some option plays to give the defense a different look.

Two Winning Streaks Collide this Sunday in State Farm Stadium

Against the Rams, the Cardinals will need to do much of the dame; when you have the skill set of Murray, you need to put the ball in his hands and let him make plays. Football can sometimes be straightforward; just put the ball in your playmakers’ hands.
