ST. LOUIS – The Arizona Diamondbacks are in, “The Lou”, this weekend as the D-Backs are ready for a three-game road series at Busch Stadium against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The D-Backs are coming off a series loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers, but after a couple of winnable games that resulted in losses, the Snakes will be hungry and eager to get back out there and make it right.
Starting pitchers:
Zac Gallen will be kicking off this series for Arizona. Gallen hasn’t been his usual self this season, as his 3-5 record and 5.14 ERA shows. If Gallen can kick it into high gear, the D-Backs could have one of the best rotations in baseball. Arizona will look for Gallen to settle in and get back on track.

St. Louis is sending Miles Mikolas out to the mound tonight. So far in the 2025 season, Mikolas has been decent with a 3-2 record and a 3.77 ERA in 45.1 innings pitched. Mikolas had some nasty stuff in his last outing as he went six innings without giving up a run and only two hits.
Getting Gallen going will be key for tonight’s matchup in St. Louis. Both teams have the hitting, but Arizona needs to start getting some confidence back after that series in Los Angeles. Look for the leaders Corbin Carroll to bounce back and Ketel Marte to continue his hot streak. If Arizona can get their stars to shine, expect the Snakes to come out of St. Louis with a series win. First pitch on Friday night is at 5:10 p.m. PT.
