Came to AZ and turnt that heat up @Commanders…great road win fellas,” Durant posted on X after the win.

Magic Johnson, who is a limited owner of the Commanders, Commanders owner Josh Harris and more members of the Commanders’ ownership group joined Durant, his agent Rich Kleiman and other big names to watch the game at State Farm Stadium. Durant is not a member of the ownership group, but did express his interest in becoming a part of it when the team was in an ownership dispute in 2022. Durant recently became a minority owner in legendary soccer club Paris Saint-Germain.

Johnson wrote a nice message for Durant on X, praising his entrepreneurship ability, and posted a picture of the cake they had for his birthday.

Durant will speak to the media tomorrow ahead of his 17th NBA season at Suns media day, as he looks to help lead the franchise to its first-ever NBA championship.
