While Charisma Osborne (Lower Left Leg) will be out for her third straight game, Bec Allen (Lower Back) and Brittney Griner (Personal) are questionable. As for the Wings, the trio of Jaelyn Brown (Illness), Satou Sabally (Shoulder) and Maddy Siegrist (Finger) are all inactive.

Missing the first 10 games of the season with a toe fracture to her left foot, Griner may be out yet again due to personal reasons this time. Since returning on June 7, the nine-time All-Star has played nine games and averaged 20.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists.

During the Mercury’s last two games which happened to be in a back-to-back fashion, Allen played against the Indiana Fever last Sunday but was unavailable for selection on the sidelines vs. the Connecticut Sun on Monday. Multiple times already this season, she has been injured and now she will miss her seventh game of the year. The Australian was in concussion protocol, and had suffered a hip injury during the preseason and a back injury at the beginning of the regular season.

Off to a blazing start to the season, Siegrist sustained a shoulder injury and has been out since June 17. Before her absence, the New York native averaged 14.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Compared to last season when she had 3.9 points per game, her overall game has improved dramatically and she was making her case for WNBA’s Most Improved Player.

On the other hand, the 2023 WNBA Most Improved Player in Sabally hasn’t made her 2024 debut and will now miss the first half of the season. She has played 82 games (72 starts), collecting 15.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists in the league across four seasons (2020-23).

Brown will miss her 19th straight game as she is battling a lingering illness. She has only played in Dallas’ season opener vs. the Chicago Sky and has been out ever since.

The clash between the Mercury and Wings begins at 5 p.m. PT in Dallas.
