One week ago, I discussed how Bobby Hurley had yet to add a 2024 recruit to the class. I wondered if he would start building his team primarily on transfers. He probably still will, but just today, Hurley added his third 2024 recruit.
Sammie Yeanay, a 4-star forward from Gainesville, FL, becomes the third prospect in the last week to commit to Hurley’s program.

Yeanay, a senior at Compass Prep in Chandler, Arizona, chose Arizona State over schools like Florida, Utah, Ohio, and Washington State. Yeanay is a top 100 recruit nationally. The 6-8 forward is the #6 ranked forward in Arizona.
Yeanay will join Amier Ali and Jaden Smith in the Sun Devils 2024 class. He is a huge pickup to keep that forward depth rolling as transfers come in and out of the program.
