Former ASU DT Jalil Rivera-Harvey transfers to Marshall

Former Arizona State defensive tackle Jalil Rivera-Harvey announced on social media that he is transferring to Marshall. Rivera-Harvey entered the portal on April 17.

Rivera-Harvey, who is listed at 6-foot-2 and 310 pounds, committed to the Sun Devils before last season out of junior college.  He was a three-star prospect and ESPN’s No. 4 defensive tackle prospect out of JuCo.

After recording 27 tackles and 1.5 sacks his last season in junior college, Rivera-Harvey had two tackles in nine games for the Sun Devils last season.

The Sun Devils have plenty of talent on the defensive line, including junior B.J. Green, incoming freshman C.J. Fite, sophomore transfer Clayton Smith, freshman transfer Tristan Monday and sophomore Gharin Stansbury.
