GLENDALE – It has been five long yards since the last time an Arizona Cardinals wide receiver has recorded 1000-yards in a single season, but the curse has finally been broke. After a sensational second half of 2025, Michael Wilson was only 93 receiving yards away from recording his first 1000-yard season of his career and the first since DeAndre Hopkins in 2020.

The following drive had the former third-round pick his a back shoulder fade for a 20-yard catch and 96 yards on the day, surpassing his threshold needed.

In the previous two seasons, Wilson was hovering just above 500 receiving yards on the season and was on that pace through the first nine games of the season with 231 receiving yards. However, that soon change in the team’s final seven games, recording 676 yards, averaging 7.3 catches for 96.6 yards per game. Wilson has been a revelation for the franchise and cemented himself as the Cardinals true WR1.
