PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns for the second time this season erased an early 20-point deficit to come back and cut the score to 64-61, Utah.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Nick Richards anchored the Suns’ comeback behind a stellar second quarter, entering halftime with six points, five rebounds and three blocks in nine minutes of play.
Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale picked it up offensively in the absence of Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green, scoring 11 and nine points respectively.
Devin Booker is having a quality game, despite struggling from the field, taking 10 points and six assist on 2-of-8 shooting into the halftime locker room.
As Phoenix gameplans for the second half, let’s break down what it needs to do to keep up the momentum and finish the comeback.
More Nick Richards

Richards entered the season as Phoenix’s third-string center, but he’s reminding everyone why he was tasked with playing the most minutes at center last season.
His energy and defense make up for the absent Brooks, and it’s infectious on the floor.
Mark Williams has 10 points and three rebounds in 10 minutes off the bench, so he is well on his way to finishing this game while reaching his injury-limited minutes target.
Going forward, the Suns need to have one of Richards and Williams on the floor at all times.
Suns Must Contain Jazz Frontcourt

We pointed it out in our preview to this game — Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler were going to be trouble all night, and that rang true.
Markkanen leads the game with 20 points on 5-of-12 shooting and Kessler added 14 points, four rebounds and two blocks.
Phoenix needs to key in on Markkanen in the open floor and crash the boards in droves to mitigate the impact Kessler has on and around the rim.
The Suns already completed one 20-point comeback this season. Finishing another one while shorthanded will only reinforce the identity of this team.
