GKENDALE – The NFL recently announced that they will be debuting new NFL Nike Rivalries uniforms for select teams in August to be worn during the 2025 NFL season, and the excitement around the new Arizona Cardinals uniform release is building.

August 28th will be the official release date for the new NFL Nike Rivalries uniforms, but the hype has continued to grow in anticipation. They won’t be worn throughout the entire season, though they will be on display for the first time during week 4 of the 2025 NFL season when the Arizona Cardinals take on the Seattle Seahawks at State Farm Stadium.

Arizona recently received three new styles of uniforms back in 2023, as they changed to an all-red, all-white, and all-black color scheme. This new upcoming uniform seems to be a little different. In the video the Cardinals released, their red home jersey has been taken over by the desert sand, implying there could be some of those colorways involved.

The Rivalries collection is built to highlight the unique identity of each team, and for the Cardinals, that means leaning into Arizona’s landscape. Early teasers from the team have hinted at earthy tones, subtle textures, and accents inspired by the desert environment. It’s a move that could set this jersey apart from anything the Cardinals have worn before.

Not just fans are excited about the release of the NFL Nike Rivalries jerseys, but Cardinals players have come out in support of the new uniforms. Star safety Budda Baker shared his thoughts on the new release via social media as well.
