GLENDALE – Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is feeling confident with the 2025 season less than a month away. The newly-turned 28-year-old had an interview with NFL insider Ian Rapoport on Wednesday, where he called this year’s team the most “complete” team since his arrival. The claim is coming off the backs of general manager Monti Ossenfort spending six draft picks and $100 million in total contracts on the defense.

Ossenfort added high-cailber defensive players like Will Johnson and Walter Nolen, who are competing to be day one starters next season. He gave Pro Bowlers like Josh Sweat and Calais Campbell contracts to join the franchise to improve on Arizona’s lackluster pass rush season. For the first time in his career, Murray could have a top-10 defense scoring defense on his side.

The improvements weren’t just limited to the offense as wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. had a massive body transformation that sees him primed to have a stellar sophomore year. Murray has a trio of stellar offensive weapons in Harrison, tight end Trey McBride and running back James Conner that could continue to make Arizona a fringe top-1o scoring offense again.

Last year’s Cardinals team overachieved with the roster present. However, it’s easy to impress when the expectations surrounding the team is on the floor. How Murray and Arizona handle the pressure of being considered serious threats to make the playoffs will be a different story.
