The Mercury lost their last game against the Wings, 98-89, on July 3. Dallas started an 11-2 run in the opening minutes and didn’t look back. Despite having only eight healthy players, the Wings led most of the game against Phoenix.

Phoenix fought to close the deficit, at one point down by four points, but couldn’t fully overcome Dallas’ early run.
