Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese credits Mercury star on advice for improvement

CHICAGO — Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese credited Phoenix Mercury’s Alyssa Thomas for giving her feedback on ways to improve on the court.

In a video from Chicago State of Mind Sports, the 23-year-old was asked how she has improved on her post-to-post action and her assisting ability. Reese said she talks to players and coaches from other teams, as well as keeping up with scouting reports.

Reese credited Thomas as someone who had helped her when the Mercury visited the Sky in their last encounter.

“I think it really helps get us more points,” she said. “Statistically, they were telling me that when I get more assists, we have a higher chance of winning.”
