The D-Backs moved to 14-9 on the season after last night’s win. Arizona moved to an 8-2 record in games where they hit two home runs or more this season. The D-backs will look to keep their bats hot, while Tampa Bay is 0-4 in away games and are looking for their first road win of the season.

Starting pitchers for Wednesday night:

Eduardo Rodriguez will start today for the D-Backs. He has a 1-2 record and a 4.09 ERA. Rodriguez got the win in his last outing in Miami. He pitched 5.1 innings and gave up 10 hits and three runs/one earned run. Tampa Bay will be having Taj Bradley take the mound today. Bradley, with a 2-1 record, has a 5.24 ERA and 24 strikeouts on the season.

D-Backs players to keep an eye on:

When Corbin Carroll is on, it is a sight to see. So far in the 2025 season, he has seven home runs, eight doubles, and a triple for Arizona. Another Diamondback making a name for himself is Pavin Smith. In the last ten games, Smith has gone 11-for-28 with three home runs, four doubles, and five RBIs. Smith’s two-run home run last night in the bottom of the third inning helped Arizona beat Tampa Bay in Tuesday night’s matchup.

The two main stars for Tampa Bay, Junior Caminero and Jonathan Aranda will look to lead the Rays to their first road win of the season. However, they must get through E-Rod and company first.

Tonight’s first pitch over at Chase Field is at 6:40 p.m. MST.
