GLENDALE –The Arizona Cardinals announced on Thursday that legendary cornerback Patrick Peterson will announce two picks in the 2025 NFL draft. The three-time All-Pro will announce the team’s 47th and 78th overall pick on Day 2 of the NFL draft. Future NFL greats will be welcomed in the league by one of the greatest to ever put on a jersey for the franchise.

Cardinals announcing Peterson’s inclusion in 2025 NFL draft:
Peterson announced on Monday that he will be retiring with the team that drafted him back in 2011. The eight-time Pro Bowl cornerback quickly allotted himself to be one of the best defensive players in the league. He helped lead Arizona to the playoffs twice, including an NFC championship appearance in 2015. He ended his time in the Valley sixth all-time in franchise history in interceptions, finishing with 28.

For the 2025 NFL draft, Arizona will have six picks in total, with a high likelihood of the team trading back, according to general manager Monti Ossenfort. Next week’s draft will be a busy one for the franchise that is looking to take the next step in its rebuild and contend.
On April 25th, there is no better option to announce the future greats and leaders of the Red Sea than Peterson at Lambeau Field.
