Phoenix Open Pro-Am showcases Cardinals’ legend as top competitor

Pro Bowl tight end Trey McBride and rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison are promising pass catchers for Arizona, but they’re just not Fitz. If you’re missing watching Larry Legend in action, you’ll have a chance soon — just not on the football field.

Fitzgerald was announced as a participant in the WM Phoenix Open Annexxus Pro-Am on Wednesday.

Since retiring after the 2020 season, Fitzgerald has become a regular in the tournament, making his return for the fifth consecutive year. U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team two-time gold medalist Carli Lloyd and Philadelphia Phillies outfield Kyle Schwarber were also named as celebrities who entered the tournament.

The Pro-Am will precede the four-day Phoenix Open as a part of the PGA Tour. The Pro-Am will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at TPC Scottsdale. Tickets are listed at $75 for general admission for the Pro-Am and Thursdays opening day of the professional tournament each.
