To the rest of the Phoenix Suns roster, Saturday is another gameday against the Detroit Pistons. But Devin Booker and Kevin Durant are focused on another game — the NFL divisional round matchup between Durant’s Washington Commanders and Booker’s Detroit Lions taking place just a few hours after they play the Pistons.

“Fo’ sho’,” Booker said if he can expect there’ll be a bet between the two. “Whatever he wants to do.”
Durant accepted Booker’s offer and the two made a bet on the side. Fast-forward to gameday Saturday and the two are at friendly odds ahead of their matchup against the Pistons.
Durant got on the team bus wearing a Commanders jersey. Will he be sitting anywhere near Booker?
“Of course not,” Durant told Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic. “Not sitting next to that man with that blue on.”

The two have to join forces for now as they take on the Pistons at 2 p.m. MST, but can go back to being at odds shortly after as they attend Ford Field for the playoff matchup at 6 p.m. MST.
