BREAKING: Jusuf Nurkic suspended 3 games for altercation with Naji Marshall

After being ejected in a 98-89 loss to the Dallas Mavericks Friday night for an on-court altercation with Mavs forward Naji Marshall, Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic has been suspended for three games with no pay, the NBA announced Saturday afternoon.

Nurkic was ejected with 9:02 remaining in the third quarter, as was Marshall, who was given a four-game suspension for the altercation and attempting to further engage Nurkic outside the locker rooms following the ejection. Dallas forward PJ Washington was also suspended for his involvement in the altercation.

Nurkic’s suspension will begin tonight as the Suns take on the Golden State Warriors in the Bay Area.
