WATCH: Mike Budenhozler lauds total team effort in Suns’ victory over Nuggets

Not liking the effort on Monday when his team was crushed 117-90 by the Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer was proud of his team’s response in a 110-100 win in a Christmas rematch.

Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal both scored 27 points, Tyus Jones added 17 and former Nugget Monte Morris came off the bench for 11. After three straight games of 15-plus turnovers and losing in each one, Phoenix kept that number to just seven and won, a positive sign going forward.

Having a quick start like his team did, Budenholzer complimented multiple Suns for making the proper adjustments, preaching that having higher intensity will lead to results like this, was very impressed with Morris and Josh Okogie, credited Beal for getting into a rhythm offensively and more.
