Getting a second chance at facing the Denver Nuggets after suffering a 117-90 blowout loss on Monday, the Phoenix Suns returned home on Christmas and won 110-100.
Having back-to-back 26-plus-point games and looking like the version of himself that the Suns traded for two offseasons ago, Bradley Beal scored 27 points from 11-of-21 (52.4%) shooting overall and going 3-for-7 (42.9%) from 3 on Wednesday. Against his former team, Jusuf Nurkić collected eight points, 13 rebounds and six assists. Like Beal, Kevin Durant also had 27 points but without a single 3-pointer made, o-for-5.
Cherishing what the holiday means to him, Beal was pleased with how the team came out and rebounded from the tough loss, being more aggressive, having fun on the court, being blessed to be able to play on Christmas and more.
