Just when you thought all talks of the Phoenix Suns being a preferred trade destination for Jimmy Butler came to a halt when his agent denied such reports, one of the NBA’s most tantalizing characters pushed the rumors one step further by revealing a new orange hair color.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! This new hairstyle debacle comes after Butler’s agent, Bernard “Bernie” Lee, went after NBA Insider Shams Charania in the thread of X/Twitter posts denying any reports that the 6-time All-Star had the Suns on his “preferred destination list.”

Not too long before Butler revealed his new bright orange hair color, Charania took to ESPN’s First Take with Stephen A. Smith to respond to Lee and back his reporting on the matter.
“I 1,000% stand by my reporting,” Charania said. “It’s fully vetted. And as a professional, that’s what I do. That’s what I get paid to do, that’s what I’m going to do; report truthfully and accurately. That’s what this is. Period.”

This whirlwind of trade talks comes after Charania initially reporting that Butler would be made open in trade talks from the Miami Heat. The 14-year veteran reportedly has Phoenix, the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors on his list of preferred destinations should a trade be made.
It would be difficult, but not impossible, for the Heat and Suns to facilitate a trade for Butler. As a team, and fanbase, that has been battling injuries to multiple stars, Phoenix could benefit from a potential trade.
However, given various CBA restrictions, Bradley Beal’s withstanding no-trade clause and sourced reports that the Suns believe in their current Big Three and the prospect of them playing together while healthy, Butler coming to the Valley any time soon seems far-fetched.
