After losing their fourth consecutive game, Phoenix Suns guard Tyus Jones and rookie Oso Ighodaro both spoke on the team’s recent struggles, how they are fighting regardless of who is playing, how they will get through this tough stretch without Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, Ighodaro’s first NBA start, how Grayson Allen has been over the past few games and more following a 109-99 defeat to the Orlando Magic on Monday night.
Jones led the Suns in scoring with 18 points and also distributed eight assists in the loss. Ighodaro, a Desert Vista High School product, started for the first time since being drafted No. 40 overall this year, with Jusuf Nurkić sidelined with a left ankle sprain. The Chandler native Ighodaro finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and two assists in a season-high 32 minutes played.
