Arizona Cardinals play the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 24 at Lumen Field. There will be one less familiar face the Cardinals will see across from their defensive line. Their rivals had an unexpected retirement right before they head into two important divisional games. The surprise announcement that the Seahawks’ starting veteran center has retired mid-season. News came from Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald today and there was no indication this was due to the 2023 knee injury.

Seattle has two huge division games coming up, before playing the Cardinals they go head-to-head with the San Francisco 49ers. The navigation and adjustment for the Seahawks offense will be something to keep a bird’s eye on while the refreshed Cardinals defense comes back from their bye week.
