Nurkić left Sunday’s 127-118 overtime loss to the Sacramento Kings at halftime with the injury. Plumlee (six points, 11 rebounds, six assists) and Oso Ighodaro (five points and two rebounds) did a great job in Nurkić’s minutes in the second half.
Phoenix (8-2) also listed two-way players Collin Gillespie (right ankle fracture), Jalen Bridges (with G League team) and TyTy Washington Jr. (with G League team) as out. Bradley Beal (knee) and Devin Booker (illness) were not on the injury report.
The Jazz (2-7) will also be without their starting center, ruling out Walker Kessler (right hip soreness) earlier today. Keyonte George is available after originally being questionable with a left hind foot sprain, which sidelined him for Utah’s win over the San Antonio Spurs Saturday.
Tonight’s game tips off at 7:00 p.m. MST from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
